This scholarship bulletin basically helps Thai and international students. Thailand has outstanding academic quality in pursuing higher education. 1. Scholarship Program: CDSSEA Master’s Programs Scholarships in Development Studies for Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam ,Thailand Applicants

Brief Scholarship Description: This scholarship, of £1,000, is available for MBA students from specified countries at Essex Business School. 6. Scholarship Program: Russian Government Scholarships for Thai Applicants, Russia

Level of study: Bachelors, Master, PhD and Doctoral
Brief Scholarship Description: The Russian Party renders following financial assistance for Thai students: – payment of monthly allowance of regular amount (it’s the same some of money like for the Russian students, about 800 Bat per month for Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree students and about 1800 Bat per month for post-graduate students), – general hostel accommodation. It means that Thai students should pay for their accommodation the same some of money like Russian students not more. The city and the institute for the candidate are determined by the Russian Party.

8. Scholarship Program: University Leadership and Management Training Course in Management, Germany

Brief Scholarship Description: The professional training course combines online and contact phases in a Blended Learning approach: After an introduction phase of Distance Learning the initial contact phase with a duration of three weeks (Project Management and Management of Financial Resources) will be organised in September 2012 at the University of Oldenburg in Germany. 15. Scholarship Program: Call for Proposal: Strategic Japanese-Thailand Cooperative Research Program in Biotechnology

Fellow and Scholar Application Deadline: Monday, January 21, 2013

This program sends young Biomedical Engineers, anywhere outside the U.S. or Canada for one or more of the following activities:

Conducting academic or scientific research in a university or laboratory or
Pursuing coursework at an academic institution or
Interning at a policy institute, or in an industrial or  non-profit setting
Other options are possible

Eligibility

Whitaker Fellows (pre-doctoral) must meet the basic eligibility requirements and must
hold a Bachelor’s degree by the beginning date of the grant or
Be in or have recently completed a Master’s degree or
Be in a PhD program or
Be currently employed, with the most recent degree no higher than an MS
Fellows go abroad for one academic year (9-12 months)

Whitaker Scholars (post-doctoral) must meet the the basic eligibility requirements and must:
Currently have a PhD (within the past 3 years) or will be awarded the PhD before beginning  a Whitaker grant.

Scholars go abroad for one semester or up two - two academic years (24 months)

Award Benefits
The Whitaker International Fellows and Scholars Program offers a stipend commensurate with the recipient’s experience and expected expenses in the host country.

Fellows Only: Tuition (and bench fees) reimbursement, capped at US$35,000 (regardless of country of exchange or exchange rate). Individual reimbursement amounts are determined by the Whitaker Program at the time of grant award.
Grant Start Date
Awards typically begin between August 1st and October 1st, but may begin as early as July 1 of the competition year (2013), and as late as June 30 of the following year (2014).

A complete application requires a Letter of Support from an in-country host institution or supervisor. This should be submitted on institutional letterhead. However, in the event that you are applying for a degree program where it is not possible to obtain a letter of acceptance by the Whitaker Program’s deadline, then a letter of support from a faculty member within the relevant department at the proposed institution is recommended.

Official Transcripts from all degree institutions for both Fellows and Scholars*
*Must be submitted in hard copy.  We can accept these components together or separately.  The letter must be in a sealed envelope, signed across the flap by the author; each transcript should be forwarded in the envelope in which it was received from the submitting institution.

Eligibility: Must be nationals of the Third Countries targeted by the project: Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, The Philippines, Vietnam.

·         12-month rule Must not have resided nor have carried out their main activity (studies, work, etc) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the eligible European countries at the time of submitting their application to the partnership.

·         This rule does not apply to TG 3 candidates.

·         Other scholarships Must not have already benefited from a scholarship for the same type of mobility under an Erasmus Mundus Action 2 project.

·         Must not have already benefited from another scholarship under this project.

·         Satisfy specific eligibility criteria according to the three target group.

Scholarship Open for International Students: Scholarship is open for the students of Asian countries.
Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: Group A scholarships are available for nationals of: Cambodia, Myanmar, Mongolia, Vietnam and Laos. Group B scholarships are available for nationals of: Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, The Philippines and Thailand.

Scholarship Description: AREAS provides scholarships for students, researchers and staff from the Third Countries targeted by the project (Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, The Philippines, Vietnam) in order to study, do research, training or teaching at one of the European Partner Universities (Host Universities).

Objective of Scholarship: To support financially students from Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, The Philippines, Vietnam.

Number of awards offered: Scholarships will be distributed on two cohorts of applicants selected respectively in the year 2012 and 2013 for mobility’s starting in the same year.

Tenure of award: Duration from 1 to 34 months, depending on the level and type of mobility
Value: Selected grantees will receive a monthly subsistence allowance paid by the Partnership for the duration of the mobility period:

Undergraduate: 1,000 euro, Master: 1,000 euro, PhD: 1,500 euro, Post-doc-1,800 euro, Staff-2,500 euro. 
Included in the scholarship, the Partnership will also:
  • Pay for the grantees’ travel costs.
  • Provide grantees with a high quality individual insurance coverage on health, travel, accident for the duration of the mobility period.
  • Waive all university fees at the Host universities. Participants at any level will not be required to pay any fees to the Host universities. Exchange students will continue paying their fees at their university of origin.
